Addicted to Rituals?
/"Addicted to Rituals? Rituals support Beliefs. Not the reverse. Your power is Within You. If you're anxious about consequences of skipping rituals, take a step back. Remember."
--- Crystal-Marie Sealy
I know we all battle with these things on some way...
Morning rituals - "I need it to be on my A-game".
Meditation rituals - "I can't get clear without it".
Self care rituals - "I'm not grounded unless I do... <spa/crystals/essential oils/self talk with your vanity desk/morning run>".
Whatever your
"must do"
list includes, if you find that your mind is reeling on
"what will happen because I didn't...",
on your days off, I'd like to invite you instead to take a step back and consider that:
The place those rituals take you to, you have to power to get yourself there simply by visualizing...
Be it visualizing how your rituals make you feel, or visualizing yourself in the midst of your rituals. Yes, it takes more energy, but you've had the experience of the actual rituals, so it's real to you. You CAN get there.
My struggle is that I get stuck in my head a lot, so my rituals take me into my body - beauty, physicality, relaxation - and on the days when I don't, the second I start forgetting my body, I start the
"woulda, shoulda, coulda"
about how the day would have been different if I'd just made the time. I'm a work in progress on releasing that monkey mind.
What rituals do you find yourself harping on? What do you need them for? If love to hear!
❤ In love and light! ❤
