Return to Self and Privacy. Managing technology and media.

Return to Self and Privacy. Managing technology and media.

My brother sent me an interesting article, about the insights of literature professor turned technology analyst and unwitting prophet of how technology would hurt us if we didn't manage it, Dr. Marshall McLuhan. And he's quite on point, based on the findings of the article by The Free Press. Still, I hope this invitation to reclaim your human life reminds you that it's not the end, but simply a wake up call to return to ourselves.

The Paradox of Self and Compatibility in Community

The Paradox of Self and Compatibility in Community

What a time to be alive! I say often that self-love overflows. It is, I believe, the only way for our world to truly heal in harmony—for each of us to step into our own individual sovereignty. As it is in knowing, healing and honouring ourselves, that all we contribute to the world is an overflow of that love.

What I share is just a part, if any, of your story

In all things, no matter who from, my invitation is always to embrace what resonates and release what doesn't. Even if that means the tone isn't for you. What's yours will always find you. ❤️

Self-acceptance. No need to normalize everything.

Self-acceptance. No need to normalize everything.

Human rights, individual sovereignty, freedom, diversity in general on planet earth, yes, normalize. These are things I had believed were already the norm, until 2020. If you're looking for a cause, I'd say those are noble ones.  Fighting for exotic aspects of ourselves, our insecurities and our unique gems, to be normalized, and imposing them all on others, is not noble. Authenticity. Compatibility and Opposition. Self IS we are One

Authenticity. Compatibility and Opposition. Self IS we are One

Self. Knowing the self sparks a fascination with the Self in others. It does not spark a need to control, limit or define the Self in others. Simply a fascination with the other that makes you really want to see the magic that unfolds as they truly emerge. An invitation to explore the paradox, not the contradiction, of the potent Self and that we are all one.

Authenticity and the Victim. It matters

Authenticity and the Victim. It matters

Authenticity inevitably drops shame for peace in the midst of this aspect of life. True self-acceptance, as you are, self-love, self-trust, allows you to leave all the victim-shaming where it is, and expand your comfort zone to be okay with the messy phase of being the victim.  If it helps…

The 2020 Shift in Women and Work for Me

The 2020 Shift in Women and Work for Me

Upasana 'Uppi’ Doshi, one of the most passionate people I met while reading for my MBA at the Schulich School of Business, York University, wrote this LinkedIn article (link in blogpost), after seeing headlines about women leaving the workforce (2020). If you're feeling this deeply as well, I believe you will find solace and a sense of support in her article. I truly empathize with this lens on the shift, and many of us will feel and experience it as she has. What I share, here, is a lens that takes this shift and (hopefully) awakens a greater sense of possibility within you.
